Comerica Park Board Install Completed in Time for Hockeytown Winter Festival

Dasher Board Install Underway for the Hockeytown Winter Festival at Comerica Park

It’s less than a month to go before the Alumni Showdown between the Leafs and the Red Wings for The 2013 SiriusXM Hockeytown Winter Festival.   In conjunction with the Winter Classic, which will see the current roster of Leafs play the Red Wings at Michigan Stadium on January 1st, the Alumni Showdown is set to be played at Comerica Park.

Riley Manufacturing Selected to Design Custom Shooting Pad for NHL Superstar Sidney Crosby

Last week Riley Manufacturing completed the installation of a custom indoor shooting pad for Pittsburgh Penguins’ Captain, Sidney Crosby. Being selected as the dasher board manufacturer for this project is testament to the reputation Riley has for making quality products. Riley Manufacturing is pleased to announce that it has entered into an exclusive trade agreement with UK-based The Ice Rink Company Limited.  This will make Riley the sole supplier to The Ice Rink Company for ice related goods for their projects across the UK and Europe.

Ottawa Senators’ Sens Foundation RINC Project

2012 continued to be an amazing year for Riley.  We were honoured by the Sens Foundation’s decision to select us as the official dasher board manufacturer for their 20 rink R.I.N.C. Project.  According to the Sens Foundation, these rinks “will assist with building a sense of community while promoting physically active lifestyles for children and adults of all ages in the RINC neighbourhoods.”  You can read more about the project here.

Pens Foundation’s Project Power Play Second Rink and Banksville Ribbon Cutting

This week we installed the second dasher board system for the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation’s Project Power Play at Lewis Park.  Thanks to the help and support of the Pens Foundation and the Pittsburgh Public Works Department crew we were able to complete the install in just one day!  Fencing and flooring still yet to go in, but this is two down for Riley Manufacturing.

Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation’s Project Power Play

We are very proud and honoured to have been selected to supply dasher boards for the Penguins Foundation’s Project Power Play.  ”Project Power Play is designed to take advantage of the growing popularity of hockey in the tri-state area by affording young players access to newly constructed, outdoor multi-use athletic facilities. These structures provide safe areas to play games under the supervision of established organizations.”
