Ottawa Senators’ Sens Foundation RINC Project

Posted by:

2012 continued to be an amazing year for Riley.  We were honoured by the Sens Foundation’s decision to select us as the official dasher board manufacturer for their 20 rink R.I.N.C. Project.  According to the Sens Foundation, these rinks “will assist with building a sense of community while promoting physically active lifestyles for children and adults of all ages in the RINC neighbourhoods.”  You can read more about the project here.

Shortly after we were awarded the contract, we got to work building the rink at Jules Morin Park.  With the help of some pretty amazing volunteers including Senators Coach Paul McLean, pictured here with Riley Manufacturing President Sean Riley.

The rink was officially opened on January 11th by Senators president Cyril Leeder, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, Sens Jason Spezza, Councillor Mathieu Fleury, Sens Foundation president Danielle Robinson and Senators head coach Paul MacLean.  Read more on the opening here.
